unity

For the past two years, Miezibub has been making waves as an emerging Drum and Bass DJ, quickly establishing herself in the local scene.

Hailing from Aachen (Germany now based in cologne ), she has already shared the booth with heavyweights like Skeptical and Wingz, and delivered her signature sound on respected radio platforms such as Indialman invites Riddim Box, Refuge Worldwide, and Callshop Radio.

Her own show “Unity” on Callshop Radio is a heartfelt tribute to Drum & Bass and Jungle. With “Unity,” she not only highlights these genres but also fosters connection within the club scene: inviting both DnB and non-DnB DJs to share their personal take on Drum & Bass—beyond genre boundaries, with heart and heavy bass.

About this Episode

For the first half of the show I prepares some halftime heavy tunes and the second half i have a special guest: Adi-j

The first female DJ that i got to see in 2011. A personal icon <3 There is no DJ like Adi-J. Put her on the decks and the people will dance; relentlessly. On a night behind the turntables, she brings a 1000 tracks and plays just 90 of them, but she’s not winging it. She’s flying on almost 30 years of experience behind the decks. If you have been around in Drum and Bass since ’96 you have heard about her. She brings uncompromised versatility to every party, playing different styles for different ears each time. And her story is as unique as her selection. She started out DJing in 1996 in Tel Aviv – back when drum and bass was only known as jungle - quickly making a name for herself in Europe. Since moving to the Netherlands in ’98 it has been nothing but love for the beating heart of the rave. She even graduated from the School of Audio Engineering there. Making Holland her home has landed her residencies at Cheeky Monday and PRSPCT, where she has been a regular for over 15 years. She also used to be a resident at Renegade Hardware (UK) until 2020 when it closed down. Besides that, you could have caught her playing at festivals all over Europe from Glastonbury to Outlook or Rampage and Sun & Bass. She also joined the line-up of legendary events like Let It Roll, Liquicity, Trident, Membrain Festival, Jungle Weekender, Breakin’ Science – she has seen them all. The Amsterdam based force behind the wheels of steel still has that same traction as all those years ago, spinning heads and decks in 2024 with a drive like it’s still ’96. With releases on Focus and PRSPCT Recordings she will be returning with more music in 2025. Like we mentioned – she is nothing short of a DJ who makes people dance; relentlessly. Now that’s Adi-J.
